cut short

Celebration in Big Stone Gap had to end early. Fireworks were shot early because rough weather was coming in.

Norton City too. They were supposed to start at 10, actually started at 9.

Clintwood had theirs, I don't think it was cut short, started at 930 and had a steady shower through most of them. Hard to say if it was as good, worse or better than previous years due to the rain and the difficulty in enjoying them.

Close to the end it came this huge down pour and everybody started running out during the finale. That was some crazy lightning.

You would think that BSG would check the weather forecast. I would rather have them a day or two earlier or later and actually get to enjoy them than get soaked just to have them on July 4th.

Canon G5. It's a couple of years old but it still handles the basic work I think the G7's are out now.
Most of the pics were taken at 15 second shutter and f7.1
